3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks catcher Carson Kelly is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday night. This looks to just be a night off for Kelly, who has started in eight of the team's last 12 games. He's had a nice year at the plate overall, slashing .255/.384/.418 with eight homers, 30 RBI and 31 runs scored over 69 games. However he's in the midst of a small slump over his last 13 games, where he's slashing .270/.386/.378. With Kelly out, Daulton Varsho is getting the start behind the plate and is hitting seventh in the order.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
