3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks catcher Carson Kelly isn't in Wednesday's lineup. The Diamondbacks will take on right-hander Bryse Wilson and the Pittsburgh Pirates but will do so with one of their best hitters on the bench. Kelly is batting .255 with a .384 on-base percentage and eight home runs in 258 plate appearances this season. Daulton Varsho is batting seventh and starting in Kelly's place behind the plate against Pittsburgh. The 24-year-old is batting .232 with a .335 on-base percentage, nine home runs, and four stolen bases in 195 plate appearances this season and could be worth a look as a streaming option in deeper leagues.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
