Carson Wentz Fitting In With Offense
2 years agoWashington Commanders new quarterback Carson Wentz has fit right in with the offense during offseason workouts. "I think probably the biggest thing in terms of watching Carson is how he got acclimated to us," head coach Ron Rivera said. Wentz hasn't been perfect this offseason, but his skill set is allowing the team do things that they couldn't last year. He has been pushing the ball downfield and giving his receivers chances to make plays while also establishing rapport with teammates. The Commanders have been impressed with how fast he's learned the playbook as well. Take it with a grain of salt during non-padded practices, but the 29-year-old will have some weapons to work with in D.C. But after his epic collapse in Indy last year, fantasy managers should be treating him as a low-end QB2 until he proves otherwise.
