3 years agoThe Washington Commanders don't view quarterback Carson Wentz as a bridge quarterback or experimental fix, and head coach Ron Rivera downplayed the team's interest in grabbing a QB in the first round of the draft after the team traded for Wentz this offseason. Rivera said that Wentz could be a long-term fit, which could mean that the team will look to add playmakers and depth at other positions in next week's draft. The Commanders need help in the secondary and at wide receiver, and they could also use a middle linebacker and another guard. Wentz was one and done with the Indianapolis Colts, throwing for 3,563 yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 17 games, and he won't be all that attractive for fantasy managers in D.C. without a ton of weapons to throw to.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
