Carson Wentz Only A Desperation Play In Week 1

2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz is set to debut with his third team in three years on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite his past struggles, there is some belief that Wentz is the player who can take Washington's playmakers to another statistical level in 2022. The Commanders have had the misfortune of having a quarterback carousel for the past few seasons, and that could very well change with the former Colt under center. While the potential for the rest of the offense has risen, there are much better options for fantasy purposes than Wentz.
