7 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said that quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) will be "ready when he's ready." Pederson went on to explain that the team would not be rushing Wentz back in his recovery from a torn ACL. He did add, "Right now, we’re encouraged with the progress he’s making." While the goal is still for Wentz to be ready for Week 1, the Eagles certainly have a strong backup option in Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. Wentz will likely miss the entire preseason but still seems on track, assuming there are no setbacks, to take the opening snap of the season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
