3 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Carter Kieboom hit his third home run of the season Wednesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, a solo shot off former teammate Brad Hand. Kieboom went 1-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch and two runs scored in the game. Kieboom is being given every chance to show that his first two stints in the majors weren't all he has to offer, and he's taken advantage by putting up a .270/.356/.419 slash line in his 74 at-bats this year. He's been even better of late, slugging .509 in his last 53 at-bats, and he's worth a pickup in deep mixed leagues.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
