4 years agoThe Washington Nationals have demoted third baseman Carter Kieboom to their alternative training facility. Kieboom entered the season with his first long term shot to remain in the big leagues, but has struggled to say the least. The former top-100 prospect has only hit .200 with just five RBI. Kieboom is still just 22 years of age and the hope is that some more seasoning could help the youngster develop a nice career at the big league level. Asdrubal Cabrera is likely to see the majority of games at third base for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
