Carter Kieboom Diagnosed With Flexor Mass Strain
3 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Carter Kieboom (forearm) is dealing with a flexor mass strain in his right forearm, and manager Dave Martinez said the team will run more tests to make sure there's no ligament damage. There's no firm timetable for Kieboom's return to spring action, but it doesn't sound like a serious injury. The 24-year-old was scratched from Friday's spring training lineup, and there's still a chance he could miss the start of the regular season, especially if he has ligament damage in his arm. Kieboom isn't all that attractive in fantasy to begin with, as he sports a .197/.304/.285 slash line with only eight home runs and 31 RBI in his first 414 plate appearances in the majors in his first three years with the Nats.
