Carter Kieboom Likely To Be Called Up
3 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Carter Kieboom is traveling to Baltimore to meet the rest of the team and is in the process of being called up, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports. Kieboom has been in Triple-A for all but two games in early April this year. Once a top prospect, he has a career .180/.311/.230 slash line with two home runs, 11 RBI, and 19 runs. He will likely take Jordy Mercer's spot at third base as Mercer is expected to go on the IL in a corresponding move. Fantasy managers who are in need of infield help can pick up Kieboom from the waiver wire hoping he will turn things around and show why he was a heralded prospect at one point in his career.
