4 years agoFlorida Panthers forward Carter Verhaeghe scored his 12th goal of the season in Sunday's 5-3 loss to Tampa. Aleksander Barkov had two assists. Verhaeghe, who had only nine goals and 13 points in 53 career games prior to the season, has been a nice surprise in 2020-21 with 12 points through 24 outings and a team-best plus-14 rating. He's been Barkov's running mate on the first line for a while, and the duo was joined by Anthony Duclair on Sunday.
