Case Keenum A Borderline Starter For Week 4
5 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Case Keenum committed five disastrous turnovers against the Bears in Week 3, but he's quietly been a solid quarterback outside of that on a team that has no choice but to throw the ball. Keenum is averaging over 300 yards per game and has thrown multiple touchdown passes in each of the first three weeks. On Sunday he'll face a Giants pass defense just as woefully bad as his own team's, setting him up for shootout potential. New York has surrendered 346 passing yards per game and eight touchdowns through the air. There's concern about his receiving options here if Terry McLaurin is inactive, but the Redskins' inability to run the ball or play even average defense puts Keenum in the streaming neighborhood this week.
