3 years agoSome big shots near the end of the rounds and a timely takedown near the end of the contest were not quite enough for Casey Kenney to earn the victory on Saturday. Unfortunately, he suffered his second straight split-decision loss. His opponent, Yadong Song, just out-struck Kenney and was able to absorb many of Kenney's big shots. Statistically, Kenney landed 78 significant strikes (85 total strikes) and landed only one takedown on five tries. Though Kenney has lost back-to-back fights, they have been against extremely tough competition. If he's given a lower-tiered opponent next, Kenney could really rebound well.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
