6 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Casey Mittelstadt recorded the first multi-point game of his young career on Saturday, finishing a 9-2 win against Ottawa with a goal and an assist. His linemates Conor Sheary and Sam Reinhart both also picked up two points in the game. Mittelstadt had a very promising start to his career near the end of last season, registering five points in six games, but he's so far failed to live up to expectations in 2018-19. He had just one point in nine games before finding some form lately to take his tally for the season to five.
