4 years agoBuffalo Sabres forward Casey Mittelstadt posted two points in Tuesday's 5-3 victory over New Jersey, registering a power-play goal and an assist. The 22-year-old is now on a four-game point streak. Mittelstadt was promoted to the first line last week, and he's performed very well so far, scoring three goals during his current point streak. He had only one goal for the season before the run started. The Sabres sat Taylor Hall on Tuesday, and they look ready to move forward with a younger lineup, which is great news for Mittelstadt.
