3 years agoToronto Blue Jays infielder Cavan Biggio (neck) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday. He's been sidelined since August 3 with back and neck discomfort. The 26-year-old has struggled this season, slashing .215/.316/.350 with seven home runs, 26 RBI, 26 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 77 games. Biggio is eligible to come off the injured list on Friday but might need a few games in Triple-A before the Blue Jays decide to activate him. The Blue Jays infielder has power and speed upside and could be a difference-maker in the final stretch of the season if he can turn things around.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
