Cavan Biggio Logs Two Hits In Win

3 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Cavan Biggio hit a pair of singles and scored a run on Saturday, helping lead the club to a 4-0 win over the Phillies. He also stole a base for his second theft of the season, giving managers something to cheer about after a slow start to the year. Slashing .214/.336/.339 with three homers and 10 RBI a month and a half into the season isn't what owners had expected of the 26-year-old in 2021, but there's optimism that he'll figure out his stroke as we get deeper into the campaign. Perhaps Biggio's shift to third base has had some mental effect on him at the plate, but whatever the reason, it's advised to remain patient as we hit the quarter mark of the season.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
