4 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Cavan Biggio (neck) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with a cervical spine ligament sprain, the team announced through Twitter. Biggio was held out of the lineup on Friday after dealing with neck soreness for the past few days. There's no word yet as to how long this will keep Biggio sidelined, as it's yet another hit to his fantasy value this year. He's struggled at the plate this season, slashing .205/.315/.315 with three home runs, two steals, 11 RBI and 14 runs scored over 39 games. Managers should pop him onto their IL spot, and hope that he can bounce back at the plate after this disappointing start.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
