3 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Cavan Biggio continued his recent struggles at the plate on Thursday night, finishing 1-for-5 with one RBI and a strikeout in a 13-1 win over the Red Sox. It was Biggio's second hit in his last five games, as he was slashing .173/.224/.269 with one home run, one steal, six RBI and five runs scored over 18 games in the month of July entering Thursday's matchup. Needless to say Biggio has been a disappointment this year with a .221 average and .682 OPS over 74 games. At this point it seems Biggio is doing more harm than help in fantasy, and it might be time to finally cut loose Biggio in most formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
