6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia and reliever Stephen Tarpley have been added to the roster for the American League Division Series against the Red Sox in favor of infielder Tyler Wade and catcher Kyle Higashioka. It's unknown if Sabathia will actually get a start in this series or if he'll just be an option for long relief. The veteran left-hander wasn't bad this year with a 3.65 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 8.2 K/9 in 29 starts. In three starts against Boston this year, Sabathia allowed 18 hits (two homers) and seven earned runs over 14 innings (4.50 ERA). He'd be a really risky DFS option if he makes a start in this series.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
