6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez had three hits, including a home run, on Wednesday in a 5-0 win over the Cardinals. He drove in three runs in the game and was a triple shy of the cycle. Hernandez has been on fire lately with a 1.088 OPS so far in May. Hernandez also hit leadoff for the first time this season after being the Phillies primary leadoff option last year when he scored 91 runs from that spot. Hernandez has always been a good on-base guy with a 10.6 percent career walk rate, and lately he's been making the case to bat towards the top of that stacked Phillies lineup, which would be huge for his fantasy value. He's worth an add in most mixed leagues and should be started while on this hot streak.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
