3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Chad Kuhl allowed one run on four hits while striking out seven over six innings of work in a 2-1 win over the Braves on Tuesday. Kuhl has been very inconsistent this year, and currently sports a 2-5 record and 4.73 ERA over 11 starts. However he's had several solid outings recently, as he's recorded quality starts in four of his last six outings. But in the middle of that span he's also posted two outings where he's pitched fewer than five innings while allowing three or more runs. Going forward he looks to be a decent streaming option when he gets a good matchup, and his next scheduled start against the Mets could be one that managers want to take advantage of.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
