6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Chad Kuhl gave up only one run on five hits against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday, but he had to settle for a no-decision. Aside from a solo home run by Scooter Gennett, Kuhl had little trouble with the Reds' offense. He otherwise allowed just four singles and a walk on the night, while fanning six. The Pittsburgh bullpen couldn't hold onto a three-run lead, however, robbing Kuhl of his fifth win of the season. The right-hander is still searching for consistency and tonight was a step in the right direction, lowering his ERA to 4.20. He gets the Chicago Cubs in his next start on Monday afternoon.--Matt Wilkes
