7 years agoOakland Athletics utility player Chad Pinder was sent to DL on Saturday, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. He injured his knee in the eighth inning of game against Texas on Thursday while fielding Adrian Beltre’s single to center. Pinder stayed in the game but is put on the DL out of precaution more than anything. Until now, he was hitting .308 in 13 at-bats with with a homer.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
