3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Chad Pinder went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a loss at the Mariners on Tuesday. Pinder has now hit safely in four straight games as he's been one of the few A's hitting well as the season winds to a close. He only has five homers on the season to go with a .242 batting average, so Pinder isn't much of a fantasy option in redraft leagues. He did, however, bat second in this game as Starling Marte (lat) remains sidelined with a lat injury. If Pinder is in the two-hole moving forward he is a sneaky-DFS play for a low salary.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
