6 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers backfield of running backs Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler is on pace for 3,216 yards from scrimmage this year, which would top the record for a backfield duo set by Saints backs Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram in 2017 (3,094 yards). Gordon is an RB1 each and every week, especially now that he's heavily involved in the passing game. Ekeler has emerged as a flex play because of his involvement in the passing game as well.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
