7 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers are doing under-the-radar quarterback work and have already met privately with or worked out Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen, Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield and Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson. They are also expected to host UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen and USC quarterback Sam Darnold on local visits. The Bolts recently signed Geno Smith as the backup for Philip Rivers, but Smith has no long-term future, and the Chargers need to start looking for Rivers' eventual replacement.
