3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks selected Mississippi State offensive tackle Charles Cross with the No. 9 overall pick of the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night. Cross is the best pure pass-blocker in this year's class, and he step in right away for the Seahawks as their starting left tackle. It remains to be seen who will be starting under center for the Seahawks after they traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos this offseason -- it could be Drew Lock, Geno Smith or another QB to be determined -- but their blind side will be well-protected. Seattle really needed offensive line help, and the extremely athletic Cross can hold up against bigger and powerful defensive linemen.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
