4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in a 5-3 loss to the Diamondbacks on Thursday. Blackmon smacked his sixth double of the season in the top of the second inning off Luke Weaver to score Ryan McMahon, putting the Rockies up 1-0. He would also notch a single later in the game as well. The 34-year-old was dropped to sixth in the batting order last week after hitting cleanup for most of the season. He's gotten off to a painfully slow start but is working on a three-game hitting streak right now. He's slashing a paltry .194/.318/.319 with one home run and 11 RBI over 72 at-bats this season. Fantasy managers should keep faith in him as he continues to settle in at the plate.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
