5 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in his team's 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks Thursday. Blackmon has now hit safely in 10 straight games and remains one of the hottest hitters in the game. During the streak, Blackmon is hitting .532 with an absurd 1.064 slugging percentage. Blackmon got off to a slow start this season and spent some time on the Injured List, but he appears to be fully back. He's making hard contact at a 39.2 percent rate and hitting 38.6 percent fly balls, a great combination for hitting in Coors Field.
