3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, three runs scored, and a walk in a 9-6 extra-innings win over the Dodgers on Friday. Blackmon had an excellent day at the dish and he saved his best for last as he delivered an RBI double to put the Rockies ahead by a run in the eighth inning. The contest went to extra-innings and he swatted a two-run dinger to put Colorado up by three runs, which was enough to win the ball game. Blackmon has been raking since the All-Star break, slashing .458/.500/.833 with two home runs, six RBI, and two stolen bases (24 at-bats). For the season, he's got a .277 batting average with a .769 OPS, six home runs, and 47 RBI over 307 at-bats.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
