3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is on the bench on Sunday. The Rockies will take on the Arizona Diamondbacks and right-handed starter Taylor Widener but will do so without one of their best hitters. Blackmon is batting .276 with a .356 on-base percentage, nine home runs, and a pair of stolen bases in 450 plate appearances this season. Sam Hilliard is starting in right field in Blackmon's place and batting sixth. The 27-year-old is batting .209 with a .278 on-base percentage, eight home runs, and a stolen base in 126 plate appearances. The home run power is certainly encouraging, but Hilliard is also striking out 37.3% of the time. You're probably better off looking elsewhere for a streaming option in the outfield.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
