3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a run scored in a 6-2 loss to the Miami Marlins on Tuesday. Blackmon was the only batter to collect multiple hits and draw a free pass as Pablo Lopez was dealing for the Marlins. He was able to score on a passed ball in the top of the fourth inning. Blackmon picked up his 1,362nd career hit, which moved him into second place all-time on the Rockies franchise list. It was a cool moment for the 34-year-old outfielder that unfortunately occurred in a loss. After a slower than usual start, Blackmon is slashing .274/.375/.414 with four home runs and 32 RBI over 186 at-bats. One should expect more power to come over the summer months.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
