Charlie Blackmon Reaches Twice On Wednesday
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 1-for-3 with a single and a walk in a 7-3 loss to the Giants on Wednesday. Blackmon had gone hitless in five straight games prior to picking up a pair of hits on Tuesday and one base hit on Wednesday. He's still struggling overall this year with a .176/.309/.294 batting line to go along with one home run and 10 RBI. He does have a solid 12:11 K/BB ratio but he's simply not collecting enough hits right now. He was dropped to sixth in the batting order on Monday and has now hit fifth in back-to-back games. He should pick things up eventually but this slow start has been frustrating for fantasy managers, to say the least.
