7 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon (rest) will not play on Tuesday against the San Diego Padres. This is just customary rest for Blackmon, who after the off day on Wednesday will be inserted in the lineup on Thursday. He will get a pinch-hit opportunity, so if you have no other outfielders to put in, he should be started. In any other scenario, Blackmon should be benched on Tuesday.--Caden Inaba
