5 years agoBoston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy scored his third goal of the season in Sunday's 3-1 victory against the Rangers. The 22-year-old sent a shot on net in the final minute of the opening period that got past goaltender Alexandar Georgiev on a deflection in front of the crease. McAvoy has recorded goals in back-to-back games for the first time this season, as well as three goals, four assists and seven points over the past seven games. McAvoy has recorded 24 points and a plus-17 rating through 57 games, making the third-year defenseman worth owning in standard fantasy formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
