3 years agoAtlanta Braves hurler Charlie Morton pitched 7 2/3 frames against St. Louis on Thursday. Morton struck out seven while allowing just three hits. The right-hander threw 112 pitches, with 75 of them being strikes to register his sixth win of the season. He has lost three games and carries a 4.03 ERA. Despite losing his last outing, Morton looked impressive against the Cardinals.
