Charlie Morton K's 12 But Gives Up First Runs Of Season
7 years agoHouston Astros starter Charlie Morton struck out 12 in six innings pitched but allowed two solo home runs in his start Saturday against the Rangers. Morton's scoreless streak to begin the season was snapped at 16 innings but he looked sharp again for the third straight start. He now has 25 punch-outs through 18 innings pitched and the 34-year old's renaissance continues. Morton's value is at an all-time high and is an excellent sell-high candidate in the fantasy trade market at present.
