Charlie Morton Pitches Seven Strong Innings Friday
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton had arguably his best start of the season on Friday, pitching seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts, three hits, and no walks. However, he didn't earn the win, and the Braves ultimately lost the game 1-0. Morton hasn't been himself this year, pitching to a 5.08 ERA, 25.3 K%, and 1.37 WHIP over 13 starts. Fantasy managers shouldn't start the 38-year-old against good lineups, but hopefully, this is the beginning of a turnaround.
