Charlie Morton Pitches Well Versus Rays
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton tossed a fairly solid outing versus the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday. He went six innings, allowing six hits, three earned runs, three walks, and struck out eight batters. Morton received a quality start, but also got the no-decision in what eventually ended up being a 7-6 loss for the Braves. Morton will bring a 3.69 ERA and 1.12 WHIP into his next outing versus the San Diego Padres on Wednesday. That'll be a tough assignment for him and Morton won't be a favorable DFS there. Despite that, he should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
