6 years agoHouston Astros starter Charlie Morton will look to improve to 8-0 when he will take the mound on the road against the Yankees on Tuesday. Morton is having a career year to this point in the season, going 7-0 with a 2.04 ERA and has allowed only 39 hits through 61 2/3 innings pitched. He is averaging career bests with 10.9 strikeouts per nine innings and a 0.97 WHIP.
