3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton won his ninth game in the 2021 campaign defeating the Phillies 7-2 on Thursday. The veteran right-handed hurler gave up just four hits, two earned runs, and four walks. He ended up pitching in six innings that included striking out eight Philadelphia batters. Morton now has nine wins with three losses while pitching in 111 innings and sporting a 3.65 ERA. Fantasy managers have no reason to have Charlie Morton out of the pitching rotation as he has thrown well throughout most of the season.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
