Charlie Morton Tosses Quality Start Versus Marlins
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton continued his solid season during Saturday's game against the Miami Marlins. He went seven innings, six hits allowed, three earned runs, and seven strikeouts in the 6-4 loss. Sadly, the Braves bullpen struggled late in the game and blew it. Despite that, Morton looked sharp and showed he is well deserving of the $20 million extension he signed earlier in the week. Fantasy managers should continue to ride with the veteran right-hander.
