3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick went 1-for-3 with two runs batted in as the Astros came from behind with six runs in the ninth inning to beat the Yankees on Sunday. McCormick found himself right in the middle of the epic comeback, knocking a double that plated two runs and would find himself scoring on teammate Jose Altuve's three-run, walk-off home run. McCormick does not see his name in the starting lineup on a daily basis but has earned extra playing time with an impressive recent stretch at the plate. Over his last five starts, McCormick is 7-for-17 (.412) with one home run, three doubles and eight runs batted in. This recent surge at the dish is, however, too small of a sample size and the 26-year-old does not need to be rostered in standard fantasy formats at this time.--Joey C - RotoBaller
