2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Miami Marlins. McCormick could probably use a day off, as the 27-year-old is hitting just .200 with a home run in 15 at-bats so far in the month of June. Overall, McCormick is slashing .227/.290/.418 with six home runs, 15 RBI, 16 runs scored and one stolen base in 155 plate appearances and 43 games in just his second major league season. Jose Siri will man center field on Sunday and bat ninth against Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera. The matchup is a tough one, and Siri is hitting just .198/.264/.324 with two homers, seven RBI and six stolen bases in 111 at-bats.
