Chase Anderson Plays Great With No Help In Loss
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson went six innings, giving up four hits, two earned runs, two walks, and striking out two in the 3-0 loss to the Chicago Cubs. Anderson gave a solo home run to Ben Zobrist and allowed a one-run double to Albert Almora in the fifth, but that's as far as the damage goes. Since the Brewers only amassed three hits in the loss, Anderson was rewarded with a somewhat undeserved loss. After having a not so great start against the St. Louis Cardinals last time around where he gave up four runs in four innings, this is an improvement for sure. This game now puts Anderson at a 0-1 record with a 3.38 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched. Anderson should be owned in all formats.
