Chase Anderson Showing Signs of a Turnaround
6 years agoBrewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson has had a tumultuous season thus far. After a stellar 2017 campaign in which Anderson held a 2.74 ERA, it was looking more and more that this was an outlier than a sign of things to come. His 4.33 xFIP that season might have indicated that luck had a lot more to do with his success than anything. Since the beginning of May, Anderson's given up four or more earned runs in four starts. However, over his past four starts, Anderson has been stellar in three of them giving up one run or less add adding two wins to his season. This might be a sign of things to come, no matter what his underlying number might insist.
