Chase Anderson Subpar Against Cardinals
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson went four innings and gave up eight hits, allowed four earned runs, gave up three home runs, earned five strikeouts and was rewarded with a no-decision in the 5-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Anderson started off the game by giving up two solo home runs to both Dexter Fowler and Tommy Pham in just the first inning and later ended up giving up a two-run home run to Marcell Ozuna in the third inning. Anderson was eventually pulled after the fourth inning and this was the complete opposite of his start on Opening Day where he limited the Padres to one hit in six innings. This game now gives Anderson a 3.60 ERA in 10 innings pitched, but he should remain owned in all formats.
