3 years agoChase Briscoe was granted the pole for Sunday afternoon's race at Atlanta. When all practice and events on Friday were cancelled due to inclement weather, NASCAR went back to the "merit based qualifying". As a result, Briscoe arguably benefitted the most. He was 26th in practice and has tended to not finish well on super-speedway like tracks. There will be a lot of unknown on Sunday but what may be more known is that the No. 14 Ford may struggle with the lower-horsepower package.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
