3 years agoChase Briscoe begins Sunday from the 19th spot in Las Vegas. He started 24th earlier this year on the track and ended up 21st. However, at another intermediate track, Briscoe improved from 21st to 11th. That was at Michigan. What does one make of the Stewart-Haas Racing driver's chances for Sunday? Honestly, place differential of significance appears not likely. Briscoe has finished inside the top 20 in his previous three races but nothing better than 13th. The No. 14 car dropped a bit in speed during the first Vegas race. If he makes a move, it will have to be early to save himself for later. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
